The law requires that with shipments of alcohol, there must be an adult at least 21 years old (with identification), to sign for a delivery. If nobody is home or of age to sign for your wine, two more delivery attempts will be made on consecutive business days. If delivery is unsuccessful on all three attempts, the package will be returned to us. If after three attempts the delivery is unsuccessful, any additional shipping charges will be your (the customer) responsibilty.
We recommend that you provide us a business shipping address to avoid missing your delivery. Orders may be tracked, and their status checked, by using the tracking number sent with order confirmation email.
If there are problems with your wine, please call us within 7 days of delivery to report. WineontheWay.com will arrange to have the package picked up and returned for inspection. Once the package is inspected, we will send out appropriate replacements to you based on our findings.
If you find any discrepancies regarding type of wine and/or vintage you ordered (we do not substitute vintages), please e-mail us at email@example.com so we can remedy the error.
If your state is not listed on our list of valid shipping states, it is because your states laws prevent us from shipping to your state.
A gift note can be included using the "gift note" textbox during the checkout process. Alternatively, you can mention it to the sales representative while placing the order on the phone or via e-mail.
If you place an order and request it to be sent as a gift, then there will no receipt included with the shipment. It will be mailed separately to your billing address.
We personally insure all wine that we ship out. In cases of damage in transit we will replace or credit you back the bottles when applicable.

All orders must be processed and billed when the order is placed.
Gift certificates are available in any denomination. They can be purchased by sending an email to email@example.com . To redeem the certificates, the gift certificate number must be entered at the check out page when the order is placed.
Our inventory is updated often and we try our very best to ensure all bottles ordered are in stock. However, there are rare cases when a bottle ordered is out of stock. In these cases we will contact you to remedy the situation and make you happy. If you would like to purchase larger quantities, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and our wine experts will gladly assist you in making your purchase.
Yes! We love the challenge of locating hard to find wines not listed on our website. Any special requests for any wines are welcomed. Email or call us anytime and let us know what we can hunt down for you!
