"2016 is the 3rd vintage of the Lion de Batailley wine. The name is in reference to the 2 Lions at the entrance of Ch Batailley. This is the second label of Ch Bateailley Taking the same care and practice as Ch Batailley , the structure is 60% Carbernet Sauvigon, 33% Merlot, 6% Cab Franc, 1% petit Verdo. 15 month in oak barrel 40% new. The blackcurrant and blueberry aromas pop out of the glass. Medium to full body, linear and refined tannins and a currant, coffee and smoke aftertaste."
