NV Deutz

The NV Deutz Brut Classic Champagne has warm, generous fruit that comes together beautifully in this rich, expansive, mid-weight effort. The bouquet, texture and purity of the finish are all first-rate. Equal parts Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Like all Deutz Champagnes, it undergoes full malolactic fermentation.

The NV Gosset Brut Excellence Champagne is a broad Champagne, featuring nice definition and flavors of pear pastry, black licorice and smoke on a delicately textured, creamy mousse. Shows fine length, with a lingering ginger note.

NV Lancelot-Royer

The Lancelot Royer Cuvee des Chevaliers is greenish-gold in color. Gently nutty apple, pear, peach pit and dried flowers on the nose. Light-bodied orchard fruit flavors are deepened by subtle marzipan and pecan notes. A broad, fleshy Champagne with very good finishing breadth and sappy cling. This will pair nicely with food and would be great with a buttery fish or poultry dish.

NV Diebolt-Vallois

Pale gold. Aromas of pear, lemon curd, anise and minerals, with a subtle floral quality in the background. Juicy and precise, with very good depth to its tangy orchard fruit and citrus zest flavors. Shows good energy and focus on the finish, which echoes the citrus note. I'd serve this Champagne by itself, or maybe with straightforward shellfish dishes.

NV Pierre Moncuit

Pale gold. Intense, mineral-accented aromas of lemon curd, orange peel, pear and quinine, with a suave undertone of smoky minerals. Toasty and spicy on entry, then more tangy in the middle, with very good depth and clarity to its citrus and orchard fruit flavors. The floral quality comes back on the finish, which lingers with impressive tenacity and spiciness.

Dark pink. Powerful scents of redcurrant, blood orange and toasty lees, with a sexy floral overtone. Pliant red fruit and citrus flavors pack a serious punch and show unlikely vivacity, with a slow-building smoky quality adding seriousness.
