Wine On The Way offers free shipping on individual purchases totaling $250.00 or more. Free shipping only applies to one individual order going to one individual address within the continental United States. We ship via FedEx Ground. For orders less than $250.00, you can calculate shipping costs within the checkout process.
We do our very best to get your wine, via ground courier, to its destination in 7 business days or less. Overnight and 2-day air shipping upgrades are available upon request (at customers expense). All wine deliveries will require an adult signature upon delivery.
We offer complimentary, temperature controlled storage during the hot summer months. Stored off-site, we will hold your wine until weather permits safe shipping. The storage of your wine is complimentary so that you may take advantage of our specials offers year round.
In addition, we reserve the right to hold orders safely until weather permits. You will be notified via email if your wine is being held safely in our temperature controlled facility. Should you choose to override this shipping hold, the wine, and its condition upon arrival, becomes the full responsibility of the customer.
Please note: once a wine has been moved to our temperature controlled storage facility, orders cannot be altered, exchanged or cancelled.
Wine on the Way is committed to delivering your product in excellent condition and in a timely manner. Order processing time is contingent upon credit card authorization, and does not include weekends or holidays. If you are dissatisfied in any way with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date at 800-975-5649. We would like the opportunity to correct the situation.
Order Damaged in Transit:
Wine on the Way uses specially designed packaging of the highest quality to protect your wine in transit. However, in the unusual event you do experience a problem with a shipment, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date. We may require the return of unopened bottles. We may offer a replacement, discount, refund, or an account credit to be used for a later purchase. Wine on the Way is not responsible for damage to wine, including leakage or damaged corks, resulting from heat or extreme temperatures during shipment.
Shipping during periods of heat or extreme cold is at your own risk. We strongly advise you to take advantage of our complimentary temperature-controlled storage service (for up to 6 months) during periods of heat or extreme cold.
A cancelled order is an order that has been placed and payment processed. A cancellation fee of 10% of the merchandise amount will be assessed at the time of refund. If the order ships that cost too will be assessed.
A returned order is any order that has been delivered and then returned or declined by the buyer. This includes orders returned due to failed delivery attempts as result of adult signature not available. Upon receipt of a returned order back to our facility, a refund will be issued less original shipping charges, return shipping charges, and a restocking fee of 10% of the merchandise amount.
Dissatisfaction with the Quality/Taste:
Wine on the Way is proud to offer great values on the world's best wines. We work toward providing you with as much information as possible to help you make a selection you will enjoy, but we can not of course guarantee that you will like the taste of every bottle of wine you may select. In the event you do experience a problem with the quality/taste of a wine, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase. If you would like to return an order for taste reasons, we will issue a refund or account credit for any unopened bottles, less the original shipping charges, return shipping charges, and a 10% restocking fee. Wine purchased that is older than 10 years is not guaranteed in any way.
